Our Mission

Based on a 43-acre organic farm at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, Paddington Farm Trust aims to transform lives by connecting disadvantaged young people, families and communities from urban areas, particularly London, with nature-based education and activities, whilst empowering the local Somerset and Glastonbury community through volunteering, education and social enterprise. We are committed to promoting nature conservation and environmental responsibility for all.

We provide residential experiences for young people and families from deprived urban areas, enabling them to develop new skills, connect with the natural world, and take part in farm life.

We also run weekly volunteer sessions, including for participants with additional needs, and host Forest School and nature-based activities for the local community. And we provide comfortable, rustic accommodation and camping for individuals, families and groups.

As a charity, any profits we make are ploughed back into the farm so that we can continue to provide opportunities to connect with nature and the countryside.
