Join Julia Bedford (Herbal Brue) to make traditional egg tempera paints from scratch. We’ll be foraging for natural pigments, crushing stone, and using eggs from our own chickens, to create up to five different colours… and then we’ll use our newly made paints to create our own art work.
During the workshop we will be smashing rocks with hammers, so please bring ear plugs if you are senstive to noise and please also bring safety goggles if you have them.
This is a free event, thanks to funding from the National Lottery Communtiy Fund
This event was originally scheduled for 30th June but had to be rescheduled – we hope you can join us for the new date!
